As far as pies, I think your mom's chocolate chip pie is the best by far, but I do love me some pecan and/or pumpkin pie.

we get my mom's lemon dessert too, and I am excited about that.

Thanksgiving is the one holiday I don't spend with my relatives. I drive to Champaign and spend the weekend with my dearest friends.

Rhubarb (strawberry-rhubarb will do but is not as good) pie and mince pie are my favorites.

Thanksgiving was last month, but we spent it with family. Both my family and my inlaws are in the same town as us, which is nice.

As for pies, I'm a huge fan of the good ol' apple pie. I never did like pumpkin pie, the texture turns me off of it.

We've already has Thanksgiving up here in Ottawa, but I spent it with family. Actually, I made a pumpkin cheesecake with caramel sauce and crumbled pumpkin spice malted milk balls. Pie is...ick...unless you're talking about lemon merangue (I know, blasphemy - who doesn't love pie).

We are going to my mom's side of the family Thanksgiving on Wednesday night and then on Thursday afternoon we are going to my step-dad's side of the family Thanksgiving. I am pretty excited, as I have learned to cook since they all saw me last and I am in charge of dessert.

My favorite pie is apple, hands down.

I love lemon meringue pie--minus the meringue. I always scraped that off and gave it to my little sister. That made both of us happier!

We'll be driving an hour north to go to Mike's aunt's and dad's houses for two separate dinners. Then we'll be driving back to have dessert at my mom's best friend's house. :)

My favourite type of pie is pumpkin is it's done right (homemade). But I'm also fond of boysenberry pie (I think?) and applesauce cake.
